How You Can Help

There are three main options to support SHINE in its crucial work. 

General Donation to assist the work of SHINE and The Andrew Dean Fildes Foundation Master Card, VISA - PLEASE MAKE A MINIMUM DONATION OF $2.00.       

  • Donate your specified (fully tax deductible) amount below via a secure transaction.
  • Support one of our events and by purchasing tickets and participating in fundraising activities.
  • Please contact us directly if you wish to donate via cash, cheque, or have further queries.        

Other ways you can help

  • Sign up here to our monthly e-newsletter to keep informed of SHINE’s important work, research, news and forthcoming events.
  • We are always looking for volunteers to assist us in our ongoing fundraising activities. Please contact us if you would like to be on our volunteers register.
  • Host a fund raising event in your work place such as Casual Friday with gold coin donation or company sport’s challenges. Contact us for ideas and fundraising support        materials.
  • Host a fund raising event, such as a sausage sizzle, fete stall or cake stand, as part your child’s school charity schedule. It provides a dynamic learning experience as children raise money and learn about the language and learning differences of others.

YOUR DONATIONS HELP ENORMOUSLY TO:  

  • Screen school age children to identify speech language and learning (literacy) disabilities
  • Conduct comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments  
  • Support parents and schools, with teaching and therapy materials  
  • Provide direct intensive research-based multidisciplinary treatment to children with LLDs
